otl

Miami, FL 33137

Located in the heart of Miami's Design District, OTL offers all day breakfast, salads, homemade pastries and sandwiches in a funky two-level space. A fantastic coffee shop to snack or lunch, get your caffeine fix, socialize, or even spend a couple of hours working. However, navigating the limited indoor seating especially during lunch hours can be a challenge. On a fresh day in Miami, they do have an outdoor patio area that is super for people watching. Due to the abundance of valet parking in the District, it is advised to park in one of the three public garages nearby. I promise Museum Garage will not disappoint!

Formerly the Limited Edition Cafe, Ironside Cafe is a rustic, Euro-style hangout that serves artisanal coffee, breakfast, juices and pastries daily from 8am to 4pm. The prices and value of the breakfast items and coffees are hard to beat in this area. Ironside Cafe is located within Ironside Miami, a mixed-use development that consists many small shops and ateliers that is ideal for local shopping, arts and culture.

Miami’s own coffee phenomenon, when Panther Coffee first opened in Wynwood, it was the first small batch coffee bean roaster, wholesaler and independent specialty coffee company in the city. Panther roasts its own coffee right in its Wynwood store, much to the delight of patrons. In addition to offering coffee drinks, cookies from Cindy Lou's, and pastries from True Loaf Bakery, Panther also serves a selection of scones and toasts from its own Panther Kitchen. "We're venturing into baking our own savory items," owner Joel Pollock says. The shop will also host monthly coffee tastings. In addition to this newest Upper East Side cafe, Panther has grown to five locations including Wynwood, Sunset Harbour (South Beach), Little Haiti, and Coconut Grove.

Cafe Creme plays perfectly into the typical French cafe with its colorful, yet understated interior and chalkboard announcing the daily specials. Both the breakfast and lunch menus have an extensive selection of dishes available from eggs, croissant sandwiches, natural juices, panini, and pastries, to salads and quiches. Located in the new Balinese inspired Upper Buena Vista shopping district, Cafe Creme offers outdoor seating to enjoy lunch in the shade of the canopy trees and then shop in the many eclectic shops and boutiques.

One of more than 100 of the Seattle-based coffeehouse chain outposts in Miami, the MiMo location is one of the biggest in town. The building sits on what was once the expansive parking lot of the Stevens International Motel with the historic bookends still remaining. The space features two-story windows and a large front patio facing Biscayne Blvd.
